Matt has been working back-to-back winters in Europe/Canada and New Zealand/Australia for the last 15 winter seasons and is a BASI ISTD with French equivalence. In the Southern Hemisphere season Matt works in New Zealand as a Trainer for Turoa Ski Area Mt. Ruapehu training the Ski Rookies program in preparation for NZSIA Exams. This will be Matt’s fourth season working in Verbier for European Snowsport. He enjoys keeping contact with people he has taught and trained with over the years, hearing about them using their qualifications to gain employment and instruct skiing all over the world is very satisfying. Matt loves to get out skiing and training with friends and can often be found out on the morning pistes and hunting down fresh tracks.
